October was a great month, we are excited to continue moving ahead further into the fall and entering winter! School attendance has improved significantly from the last few years, students MAP scores are showing growth and school culture continues to flourish in many ways.
As a staff, we are working diligently to meet every student where they are. Now that we are getting deeper into the year, our goal is to help every student progress and meet their goals. As always, Mossdale is a place Where The Making Of Success Stories Happens Daily!
Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do to support your student in any way!

You may be aware, but in case you aren't - Mossdale School has implemented a new attendance incentive program this year! Classes compete against each other and have the chance to earn class rewards based on the number of days they have perfect attendance as a class. These awards range from a popsicle party to Mossdale sunglasses, stickers, extra recess time or even a class BBQ!
For the month of October, as a school we have increased our daily attendance by 1.5% compared to this time last year. We averaged 95.5% of students attending school daily! Keep it up punctual and present Jaguars! |

On October 27, we hosted our second Power of the Paw Assembly of the year to recognize students who have demonstrated the "Preventative" value! See below for a few pictures of this awesome day! |

Hello Mossdale Jaguars, it's Officer Dominguez!
It is time for this month's 'SRO tip'. Social media is a huge part of today's culture so let's go over some tips together to keep us all safe while surfing the web: think before you post, don't add people you don't know, never send inappropriate pictures or content, and never give your address or other personal information on social media sites. Remember what you post online will live on the internet forever! As always, if you see me on campus, say hi!
